take it like a man,

"..sh..shutup
i'm telling you - the things you learned in college - shit.
80% of which you will neglect
90% of the remaining 20% you must not use
and the remaining 10% you will learn to forget"

an experienced architect telling a younger architect the tectonics of the architectural profession.

in the meantime, cities remain to grow gracefully blocking everything in sight, who needs empty spaces anyways?

*weeps in corner*

...how unsurprising...
well, maybe "take it like a man" to the next level? I mean, what this guy is saying is kinda right... but what did we exactly learn at uni? We learned what we ourselves wanted to learn... we practically looked up all the information on our own. Still uni wastes a lot of our time, his right in that - but that's nothing we don't already know...
We don't have to always listen to our elders in ever little thing... although they are useful in many ways but we devise our own way, no?
What i'm trying to say here, is: leave the corner for some other day.
