Lightning Bolt

"You feel as if you are hit by a lightning bolt this week, raafat, so get ready for a large dose of dazzling energy to come cascading into your life. On Monday, the Universe starts the ball rolling as Mars trines powerful Pluto retrograde in your sector of rivals, and you experience a blast from the past. A former rival shows up in your social network, and you may have to cope with feelings that you had long since forgotten. The emotional Moon is in Gemini in your sector of self the beginning of the week, so you may be a bit on the supersensitive side, and your emotions will be easily triggered. You might want to explore just why you feel so unsure of yourself in the presence of your competitor and consider ways to boost your self-esteem. Remember, it's all about you, not your opponent. Try to focus your thoughts on Saturday, or you will find it difficult to concentrate. Mercury, your ruling planet, squares erratic Uranus, and your energy level will propel you in a hundred different directions. This is a great time to burn off your excess energy in a sport or at the gym."

SARA JAAFAR - publics / AA

"monuments are the only objects in the city that do not move at the same pace as the city around it thus outlive their relevance. my aim is to reactivate the spaces around monuments by endangering them because when one is about to lose something she/he starts caring about it"

Tango Remote Control came to life when childhood friends Tony Abou Jaoude (instrumentalist) and Roland Ragi (Sound producer/programmer) got together on a cold January afternoon 2007 and decided to form a band. Not quite sure which direction to take they started experimenting with drum machines, guitars, synths, and old Casios. They were both heavily influenced by the pop culture infused 80’s and spent their childhood, watching National Television zapping between “Dabkeh” and tango competitions. The result: a slightly bipolar approach to music making that, along with the rest of the Lebanese population, sits somewhere between two cultures, and switches back and forth through a remote control to pick the one that fits most. Tango Remote Control recently signed to Pistol Records which on may 6th, 2008 released an album compilation called ‘Cool Chill’ featuring artists from around the globe.
Still working on uploading their music,. in the meantime, chek 'em out at:

DW5 was here 01

These two proposals are both done by DW5 (Bernard Khoury Architects), for the preservation and renovation of the Beirut City Center Egg/Saboune.
I like the proposal with the grid sttructure more, although it adds more to the structure of the egg, it seems much more sincere to it. Here you go::thankyou bernard for considering this as not an ipso facto bye bye structure, and to solidere..i say @#%^%&#$%@^ #$% $% ^$#%^
